After accomplishing goals I set out to achieve within the fashion industry in New York, I felt the desire to look for new challenges and fresh new perspectives; my family and I moved to Los Angeles where I opened my own business.
Once again I found myself with an off-balanced life, where I was solely focused on business success. I opened designer showrooms in LA, NYC, and Paris, hired employees, took loans, signed contracts. My business was thriving, but I still felt unfulfilled.
Then the pandemic hit, and my purpose shifted. I was inspired to focus less on external on-paper accomplishments, and more internally with intention, and greater personal impact on others.
I am a husband, father, son, godfather, dog dad, friend, mentor, consultant, fiduciary financial planner, and small business owner.
In 2005, I graduated from University of Delaware school of human development and family sciences + completing the Biden school of public policy leadership program. I specialize in team building, teaching, and leading.
Shortly after I moved to NYC to pursue a goal of working in the fashion industry; I climbed the corporate ladder. Constantly searching for “the job to get the next job”. Thankfully, even while I was tunnel visioned on career fulfillment, Cheysa (my wife) came into my life. She brought a much needed perspective, one that I would embrace more and more as the years passed.
I am now today with a newfound perspective and definition of "success". I work as an executive within the clothing industry, but now I also guide and coach young professionals and young entrepreneurs making life choices, balancing vigorous careers, and all while trying to find contentment.
My clients in my circle are trying to build families, trying to build community, trying to have balance, trying to figure it out.
It is not easy. Just because it sounds SIMPLE does not mean it is easy.
